I've come to this realization. I started working at Safeway at 15, not thinking I would ever become apart of the deli. Mainly because I hated working with food. I hate serving people food. Then I got convinced to go into the deli by my old assistant manager Craig. I was happy for a bit, but then realized, I don't like working with food. But I tried making myself think I was happy with it. Then when I quit Safeway, I went and worked for another food company!!! But while at Safeway I had partime jobs, but they were always small jobs, seasonal, or just i'm a filler. So they didn't last long. BUt then I go to Eurest, and I am working with food. I thought I was going to be a cashier, then to find, I had to do much much more. Then as a lead, I not only cook, but I do food prep, catering, and everything else possible. I am cross trained to do whatever I have to there. But after Friday, I feel like they take me for granted. I do my work, I do others work, and I work hard to the point where my body cannot take anymore. and my manager saw me almost pass out. I had to miss my lunch and breaks to get stuff done, and my whole body was almost drained. The stress from my job is building. I can't take it. I am getting sick from it. I work hard, and no one ever notices. And I think I am not happy again. I have gone as far as I can in that job. I am the lead, next would be managment, but f that. So now I think I am going to find a job that can help me get closer to becoming a lawyer. Like an office job. I can type fast, real fast, my mom calculated it, and I can type up to 90 WPM. And I am very organized. If you look at my desk in my room, I have everything in a certain spot, things filed nicely, I like things to be in a special place. Then I know a lot about computers. I mean i'm not Joe smart, but I know a lot about word applications. I have used it mostly my whole life, so it's something I know very well, and I can do more than standard typing, i know how to format stuff on word and many other things. Even stuff my own father doesn't. So I think that is something I am going to do...
